| SONYPS Dynamite Boxing, Thunderforce V and SATURN Baroque are all due next week. Seems like some are taking an early Memorial Day holiday. NCS will return to full operations next Tuesday; we wish everyone a fine 3-day weekend. |
| Last week, we mentioned that there was new information on SATURN Pocket Fighter. We were initially confused with Capcom's new details but it's clear now. SATURN Pocket Fighter will not require the 4M ram card as reported earlier. When we were first asked for pre-orders, two packages were quoted, including a version with the 4M card. This has now changed and no 4M ram package will be made available. However, if you have the 4M card inserted in the Saturn, the game will make use of the ram for smoother animation and minimal load times. Hopefully, this will assuage any concerns regarding the game. Pre-orders are welcome for delivery on or before our date of July 09. |

In Tuesday's journal entry, NCS reviewed SONYPS Cowboy Be-Bop, a 3-D shooter from Bandai. An anime storyline starts and weaves through the levels to give it more atmosphere. Gameplay is acceptable but should have been tweaked for better performance. |
| In Thursday's journal, NCS has set up a Marvel vs Capcom arcade board and we're enjoying it. Why not just visit an arcade? Well, when playing in a public arena, there are many occasions when other patrons will barrel right up, insert their quarters, kick and punch, and ruin any rhythm that you may have built. We hate when that happens...Better to get your own arcade game. Journal entries will resume next Tuesday. |
