New PC-Engine Game
Confirmed
Dead of the Brain 1&2 for the PC Engine will be released on June 3
and it will represent the last game for the Engine. However, NCS will be unable to supply
this game to retail customers in the USA. NEC Home Electronics is only producing a limited
quantity of DOB and they will limit distribution of the game to two retail chains in
Japan. In cases like this, we would usually try to hand carry the game from retail to our
distribution in the USA but supplies are so scarce that even if we do try to procure this
title, we would be severely limited in the numbers that we'd be able to import. We will
evaluate the situation further but as of today, we have no plans to import this game due
to it's extremely limited nature. |

Yen Equilibrium
/ 09:14AM
Our trade is breathing a little easier this morning now that the
dollar/yen has moved back down to Y122.70. We'll be glad to exit the position at parity
but we may decide to be bold and install a stop once parity is hit and then let it ride to
see if we can strangle a profit from this play. We remain mindful that the trading range
has expanded and may make for more volatile swings than what we've seen in the past couple
of months. |

Capital Markets
/ 09:20AM
It doesn't feel like a bear market but nevertheless, the doom and
gloom merchants have been vocal. The nets are at attractive levels and we will begin
staking core positions in the generals over the next couple of days into June. We were put
the CMGI trade last week so we have a position there already but AOL, YHOO and EXDS are in
our sights if our price targets are hit. |
