Some strength in the dollar as it ramps to Y121.80. We're out of the
forex this week and next as we evaluate levels and sentiment. Markets are looking bearish
and sentiment is moving quickly to the sell side. |

We are keeping long SPH but there are signs in the market that a
sell-off may begin as early as next week. Money flows are weak and open put positions are
dwarfed by calls. Specialist short positions appear to be up. This morning's employment
number and Rivlin's resignation yesterday evening were ambiguous signals that were open to
interpretation but the market appears to be reacting positively this morning. We will use
today's action to trade out of the SPH for a nice gain and move towards going short. We
will also trade out of AMZN for the time being because we think we will be able to snap
them up at cheaper prices, perhaps at 30% off the current levels. . |
