Eight years after the One Year War in UC0079, the Titans (Gundam
Mark-II RX-178 or Black Gundam) are assembled by the Earth
Federation. Their tasks are to hunt and eliminate any
remaining cadres of the Zeon forces. The Titans enforce their
rule by brutal tactics which force a newtype prodigy of a
Gundam pilot, Camille Vidan, from their ranks. Camille takes a
Titan and joins a rebellion force called the Anti-Earth Union
Group. His heart is turned entirely when the Titans
accidentally kill his mother in a trap meant to disable
Camille's Gundam Mark-II. Z-Gundam captures the events and
scenarios in Z-Gundam to fairly awesome effect but the game
itself is fairly lacking in the play department. The player
controls the Mark-II at the outset of the game but eventually
graduates to the Zeta-Gundam model. Anime sequences are
exquisite to behold and of exceptional quality. Z-Gundam
includes two discs: Camille's scenario takes up the first disc
and the second gives you the game from Char's perspective as
he fights for the AEUG using the MSN-100. | |
