NCS End of the Week update

Dreamcast VMS The price of the Dreamcast VMS due in 2 weeks is being revised upwards to US$35 due to new pricing from the main supplier in Japan. All pre-orders are guaranteed from NCS.
Famitsu Wave The previews of Brave Fencer Musashiden and Metal Gear Solid in this magazine are playable. Web visitors Our web hosting company prepares a Webtrends report for our web site every day. On July 01, we had 5817 visitors to the site. Of those, 619 visited our Breath of Fire III page as the first page hit. Anyone care to let us know who linked to the BoF3 page? It's more of a curiosity than anything else. E-mail may be sent to ncs@escape.com. Thanks in advance for any help.
Magazine staffers NCS receives many inquiries from magazine staffers concerning pricing for consoles and/or software. NCS can and will gladly offer wholesale pricing to anyone who works for a magazine, whether it be web based or printed. The only stipulation is that you'll have to provide us with a letter, on company letterhead, requesting reseller pricing from National Console. Upon receipt of your letter, we'll scale you down for wholesale prices that our stores and resellers pay. Letters may be sent to NCS - 121 Baxter St, Suite #1 - New York, NY 10013 - NCS can also add your company to our fax list where we fax out updates and reseller specials for new and restock product received during the week. With the upcoming release of the Sega Dreamcast console, these requests have increased so if we can help staffers with your respective publications, all the better.
Independence Day NCS wishes everyone a hearty barbecue tomorrow, if you're having one. One thing that was done in our barbecues many, many years ago was the slug boil. A lot of outdoor areas that have moist soil or mulch will invariably attract slugs and snails. Once the barbecue was over and the embers were still smoking, us kids would catch a jar of slugs and then put them individually on the embers. We'd watch their bodies boil, bubble up and eventually dissipate into nothing. If we were able to find ants, we'd pop them on top of the charcoal also and watch as they walked and ran, only to have their legs burnt off. As the body hit the embers, they'd crisp up. The only defense we can offer is that it was years and years ago and kids are very cruel. We were particularly evil and twisted. Thinking back, we're glad that we weren't able to catch any frogs or hamsters back them since we would have probably roasted them too. Enjoy your weekend.
