Support     Top Picks: Go! Go! TroubleMakers, Sakura Taisen Limited Box, Time Crisis w/ Guncon

N64 Go! Go! TroubleMakers US$89

Saturn V-Force w/ VHS tape US$68

Go! Go! TroubleMakers is the latest platformer from the team at Treasure who have graced the scene with such luminaries as Gunstar Heroes and Guardian Heroes. Go! Go! is excellent and shores up the N64's slow release schedule.

SonyPS Time Crisis & Guncon US$88

SonyPS Zero Divide 2 US$68

Namco's new Gun-con is exceptionally responsive thanks to the use of an additional connection to the Playstation's video-port. The adaptor cables that are included will plug into both old and new style Playstation consoles.
Whats News this week from National Console Support

Sakura Taisen Limited Edition Re-Released. The restock of the Sakura Taisen Limited Box is now available for sale. We currently only have the B-set available. The limited edition of Sakura Taisen comes in a special container and is packed with a Sakura imprinted mouse pad, a white Saturn mouse and finally a laminated character sticker sheet. Its a nice collector's item for the Sakura fanatic. The price is currently US$115. All we need now is a re-release of the Tokimeki Memorial Limited Edition that everyone still wants. As an aside, the regular edition of Sakura Taisen game is still available at US$58. Although the regular version doesn't come with any deluxe items, it does contain a nice mini character poster/map inside.   What Else is New for the Week of June 30. The other new stock items available this week are: Neo-Geo CD Samurai Showdown RPG at US$60, PC-FX Arabian Otome at US$78, and Sony Playstation Formation Soccer '97 at US$68. Everything is stocked in depth and available for immediate shipping. In the American market, we have taken stock of the US version of Starfox 64 w/ Rumble Pack (US$59) and Herc's Adventure for the Playstation at US$42. A USA Saturn game also arrived on Monday, Darklight Conflict which looks uninspired. N64 Dark Rift has been delayed until July 07th and pre-orders are currently being accepted for shipping next Monday. Dark Rift is yet another 3-D fighting game with juggernauts and spry, lithe killers.

Magazine shipments to resume next week. All standard magazine subscriptions and regular magazines will begin shipping again next Monday due to a delay in Japan. Since this week is an abbreviated one, with the July 4th holiday coming up, we decided to ship everything for next week. Any new mooks and restock mooks should arrive next week as well and will be posted on the NCS Whats New page.   Sega Saturn switch modification details. NCS receives many Saturn modification requests every week. Since there is no information on this service on our home page currently, we are posting this small primer on the mod. NCS can upgrade any Sega Saturn model with a toggle switch so that you can play Japanese and American games directly. Why would I need this if I have a convertor cartridge you ask? For one, you will have to hot-swap a ram card based game with your convertor cartridge in order to play it. Many people have blown their light lamps and ruined controller ports by hot-swapping their Saturns. Another reason is the convenience the switch offers. The switch is installed right on the Saturn system so there is no convertor to lose. NCS charges US$35 for the mod, which includes return shipping with UPS Ground. Feel free to contact NCS for more details if you are interested in this upgrade.
Vampire Hunter 12" doll sets restock. NCS is expecting a small restock of three Vampire Hunter dolls by the end of this week. These dolls are licensed by Capcom and are the high quality ones that use real human hair and fabric for the character costumes. We are expecting Donovan, Felicia and Morrigan to be available by Thursday. The prices are not set though they should be finalized by Thursday morning.

Delayed Software held over from this week. Thunderforce V (Regular and Limited) should start shipping next Monday from Technosoft. July looks to be a major Saturn month with Bio-Hazard Dash and Marvel Super-Heroes expected within the next 2 weeks. Marvel Super-Heroes will give the Saturn owner the option of using the Sega ram-card for increased frames in the game animation. This scheme is similar to what Capcom used in Cyberbots.       Sega Saturn Basic expected next week. NCS will take delivery of a Basic programming package designed for coding Saturn demos and games next week. Similar, but not as grand in scope as the Playstation's Yarouze, the package will give the end-user the tools to program his or her own software. Theoretically, the skilled coder will be able to make his own interpretations of Sega's classics from the 80s. Tentative price for the package is US$129.
