saw the photos of the PS One a couple of months back but even those didn't prepare us for
how small this thing really is. Slightly bigger than a Sony discman, the PS One is console
chic. Two ports are located in the back of the PS One, a DC input and a Multi-AV out. The
standard memory card and joypad ports lie in front. The model is SCPH-100. Cute. US$225. |

Konami announced the next version of Gameboy Beatmania in the form of Beatmania GB
Catchamix 2 on September 28. This new version of the DJ sim includes 25 songs at Y4,500. |

Bemaniacs may rejoice when Konami ships Keyboardmania for the PS2 on
September 21 at Y9,980. The rhythm action continues with the use of a 48-key keyboard to
match the on-screen cues against a backdrop of classical and pop music. Konami will also
supply additional keyboard controllers at Y5,980. The keyboard controllers will utilize
the PS2 USB interface instead of the conventional controller ports. |

Finally, from the house of Konami, Ohasta Dance Dance Revolution plies
the Bemani trade on children (to get 'em addicted at an early age) with children songs
that youngsters can dance to. Priced at Y2,980, Ohasta will ship on September 21. |
| Sega
of Japan will apparently reproduce the Samba de Amigo controller and the Virtua On
Twinstick for Dreamcast later this month. The allocation appears to be small for both
items, which doesn't help appease the current domestic USA demand for the accessories.
Sega are treading carefully given the soft market in Japan for anything DC. |

has located another supply of our MVS inventory and we are sorting these for sale later
this week. This particular lot was slightly smaller than our last offering with only 150
pieces stored in three cartons. We will post the particulars on Thursday or Friday once
all of the cartridges have been tested and catalogued. |

Taiwanese manufacturer contacted our company a few days ago with a new product that
protects the underside of any data CD with an anti-scratch "film layer". It
sounds invaluable for Dreamcast GDs but samples are on the way and if it is something that
is feasible, we'll offer this product to our customers. |
