| Neo
Geo King of Fighters 2000 Delayed Indefinitely |
The home
cartridge version of KOF '2000 was originally slated for September 28. This has been the
approximate release date for SNK's annual team tournament for the past six years since
King of Fighters '94 was introduced on October 1, 1994. KOF 95 hit the market on September
1, 1995 and all subsequent releases have centered on September 25-28. It's been a precise
and anticipated Neo tradition. Fans have to wait a bit longer this year as SNK announced
overnight that the KOF 2000 home version will be delayed to an undetermined date this
year. No new release schedule or estimate was given but NCS will update our customers when we
have more information. A dearth of pre-orders for the cartridge in Japan may have
contributed to the overall situation. Giving arcade operators some leeway on their KOF2K
coin-op revenue may have been another reason in delaying the home version.
The MVS coin-op release of KOF 2000 is expected in Asia and Japan this
weekend, so the software is finished and ready but there appears to be reluctance on the
part of SNK to ship it for the Neo Geo console. NCS has not opened pre-orders for this
game yet since SNK had not announced a firm date for the Neo version but if you are
interested in pre-ordering this home cartridge, feel free to contact NCS. We have already
received a large number of cartridge reservations from our retail and vendor customer base
and we'll purchase up to a third of the total planned production of this cartridge, if
necessary, to ensure that it is indeed released to the market. |

| Sambe
de Amigo + Maracas Reproduced |
| A new production of the
Samba de Amigo game + Maracas controller has been confirmed overnight by Sega distribution in
Japan. Unfortunately the offer is only for the game + controller in one package deal. No
breakup of the package allowed. Many of our customers have already purchased the game and are
hunting for the Maracas so this new package release is perhaps a bit ironic. We have submitted
our quantities for this new allocation of the Samba de Amigo set and we'll post details when
the stock arrives. If we are able to restock additional Maracas by themselves, we'll update
the status of this product as well. |

Import | Domestic Updates |
Konami confirmed
two release dates for their upcoming Dreamcast software offers in October. Due to the
short lead time that the Japanese versions have over their USA counterparts, we list the
ship dates here to let our customers determine if they wish to import or simply wait for
the domestic iterations.

| Love
Hina Limited Edition |
| Sega spilled the
beans on the contents of the Love Hina Limited Edition Box that is expected on September
28. The game packaging features a large presentation box with a special illustration and
includes a Tama Doll, an Ema, and a bath towel. Elucidation on the inclusions: A Tama Doll
is a hot spring turtle, an Ema is a wooden board which is usually purchased at shrines and
gives the holder good fortune for passing exams, graduating high school, etc. The bath
towel is self explanatory. Love Hina LE is priced at Y8800 whereas the regular version is
priced at Y5800. Pre-orders for either edition are welcome. This item and all of the other
upcoming DC, PS, PS2 products will be updated on our store site by Saturday morn for
