revenue for the latest issue of Dorimaga comes
from a variety of sources, notably Sega who
promotes Shenmue 2, Outtrigger, and other D-Direct
games already on sale. Capcom supports the DC
cause with a two-pager for both Gaia Master and
Street Fighter II Revival on the GBA.
A 12-page check on Sega's studios
reveals new plans for the Sakura franchise,
K-Project (aka Rez), Gamecube plans, etc.
The reviews section grants straight
7's to Princess Maker Collection, an 8 to Comic
Party, 7 to Fate of Heart, 6 to Secret, and an
8.33 to Outtrigger.
Previews of upcoming DC software are
largely made up of dating adventure games with
names such as Candy Stripe, Virgin on Meggido, and
Memories Off 2nd. Zero Gunner 2 breaks from the
norm and offers top-notch helicopter shooting
action later this year.
A look at Culdcept II checks out the
stages in the game and offers some playing tips on
winning the "real estate" challenges. A
fanpage dedicated to Phantasy Star Online v2.0
offers minor tips and updates. Near the end of the
magazine, a preview of Do Don Pachi II peeks at
the new characters in the shooter but the game
screens look run of the mill with impossible buck
shot filling the screen. Gun Survivor 2 also makes
the cut for this issue's arcade
previews. | | | |
