Mobile Professional Baseball |
Scans |
| Eschewing baseball players hefting cylindrical polygonal bodies and spherical heads, Konami's latest besuboro game grants it's players normal bodies with standard proportions. All twelve Japanese professional baseball teams are represented including the Hanshin Tigers, Yokohama Bay Stars, and the Seibu Lions. Similar to previous Konami endeavors in the national pastime, the
game mimics point and click routines where you manage your team and choose the attitude, stance, and predisposition
of your players. The game animates beautifully and shows off the potential for real action
should Konami ever take that tack. Players may engage in an exhibition game or take on an entire season and battle through the ranks of Japanese professionals. In stock US$49. |

Star Communicator |
Scans |
|
Zooming across the cosmos, the Star Communicator animals
search for sentient beings to chitchat with. Hopping from
planet to planet, they chance upon Earth and you're given the
ambassador's role of verbal intercourse with these strange but
highly intelligent star voyagers. Plug into their little world
and relay details of planet Earth while reading their
feedback. Interlocution, virtual or otherwise, don't get much
better than this. Advocates of cosmic conversations may link
up to other supporters by Mobile GB Adapter in order to send
messages and have their fuzzy alien animals meet each other.
In stock US$49. |

| C-Bot
Daily Journal... Day Twenty One |
July
31, 2001
Nary a month passed and my sole charge, a little
C-Bot, has been dashed away to a loving home (I think) in
London, England. It's new owner will probably give it more
love than I ever could. The weather never seems to get too
torrid across the pond although the winters may bite similarly
to the frost in New England. Fare thee well, C-Bot, I hardly
knew ye.
The End. Finis. Consummatum est.
