| Astra Super Stars was released and shipped
yesterday. This colorful, comical fighting game has been delayed for a couple of months
now so it's release was a bit of a surprise . Pre-orders will ship tomorrow. Also shipped
last night was Wachenroder, Sega's 3-D isometric action-adventure that takes place in a
somber, gray colored dungeonesque world. Fans of Dark Saviour may find solace in the
rotating dungeons and similar gaming interface. The initial shipment of Dreamcast VMS
units were also shipped overnight and we expect these to arrive tomorrow. Unfortunately,
the price for the unit will be higher than initially posted though we will not know the
final price until tomorrow morning. Due to this price change, NCS will re-confirm
pre-orders today and tomorrow. |
Namco hasn't just been busy on the Playstation
with their Museum collection and the recent Anthology series. On the PC, Namco recently
released Namco History Volume 3. This latest computer compilation of arcade classics
contains Pac-Man, Ms Pac-Man, Super Pac-Man, Pac & Pal, Dig Dug, and Dig Dug 2. Dig
Dug 2 is an overhead view game featuring the familiar characters above ground this time.
The player will have to roam the territory in search of Pookas and green dragons to blow
them up with his air-pump. NCS only received a single copy of this package but we can
source it for interested parties at USD49. Minimum requirements are a Pentium 100mhz
running Windows 95, 16MB of ram and 10MB of hard drive space. |
