| NCS restocked SONYPS Rival
Schools (USD60) today along with Dragonball Z Legends and DBZ Ultimate Battle 22, both at
USD35. Neo-CD Puzzle Bobble (USD39) and Top Hunter (USD35) have also been restocked. |
| SNK's original RGB cable for
their Neo-Geo cartridge console is in stock today. This cable is perfect if you're using
an X-RGB1 upscan box or if you're using a Wells Gardner RGB monitor. Note that the RGB pin
arrangement corresponds to Japanese RGB standards. The cable retails at USD25. |
| A conclusive, final shipment
of older Neo-Geo cartridges should arrive Monday. We will no longer bring in the older,
classic Neo cartridges after this shipment due to the difficulty in sourcing this type of
Geo product within Japan and because of our focus on the 32-bit consoles at this point.
Dreamcast also weighs heavily in our thoughts, with it's debut near the end of the year.
We'll have to allocate a lot of cash and resources towards it's much anticipated release |

| A large shipment of magazines arrived on Wednesday. All subscriptions
will be dispatched today. Single issue orders are welcome. |

| In Monday's Daily Journal, NCS offers the first picture of the special
Metal Gear Solid Limited Edition from Konami that is due in September. Although we
accepted pre-orders a month ago, no pre-orders are being accepted at this time. Only
20,000 units of the limited edition are being produced and we've laid our stake on 150
pieces already. It is doubtful that NCS will be granted any more than that. We also
received a special Namco collection today for the PC that we found interesting.
Retro-gaming remains something that is both popular and collectible in the Japanese and
American marketplace. |
In Tuesday's Daily Journal, NCS checks out the
first six games for the Sega Dreamcast console. We're undecided as to which one we are
most looking forward to but Pen Pen Tricelon looks like a blast with wacky animals that
slide, run and swim through icy regions. Godzilla also looks great with beautifully
rendered cities to wreck and cause major havoc in. Seventh Cross reminds us of the first
Saturn RPG attempt, Virtual Hydlide, but only with prettier graphics. Also in today's
journal, NCS confirms delivery of N64 Pocket Monsters Stadium and SATURN Guardian Force on
Thursday. |
