Coin-op development on the Naomi practically ensures a steady diet of high caliber
software for the Dreamcast over the next couple of months with Out Trigger, 18 Wheeler,
and Marine Fishing on the way. 18 Wheeler appears to be highly desired based on pre-orders
that we have received thus far. |

| Gpara DVD
Magazine Vol. 6 Preview |
Digital |
| The
October 2000 issue of Gpara offers movie previews of 62 console titles expected in
October. Each movie lasts about half a minute. The special feature in this volume goes
in-depth on Furai no Shiren 2 for the Nintendo 64 with interviews and a comprehensive
history of the Mysterious Dungeon series from the Nintendo consoles. A new section in the
magazine introduces viewers to new games that are in high demand such as Silent Scope,
Eternal Arcadia, and Namco's Moto GP. Finally, the Technique Theater offers playing tips
on 10 top selling games. |
The advent of the DVD as a mass medium has made magazines such as Gpara possible to
distribute collections of video previews to the masses. |

When the original Bemani game Beatmania
hit the market many moons ago, it was enjoyable and fun. Playing the part of a DJ at Club
Katta was something new and different. Few probably imagined that it would spawn the
beginning of a new video gaming genre that would take Japan by storm. Since the original
DJ sim, guitars, dancing, kayboards, and drums have been added to the Bemani ensemble to
get gamers into hand-eye coordinated rhythm. |
