Spawned
from the loins of human and demon parents, Dante investigates the
supernatural during his day job. It's the life he's chosen but a
darker destiny awaits him. 2000 years ago, Dante's poppy, the
demon Sparda fought back demonic hordes and locked their lord
Mundus away. As is usual with banished demons, they keep coming
back after biding their time and resting for a couple of
millennia. Skip to the current day and Mundus rises again to give
hell on earth another go. Sparda's legacy lies in Dante who
accepts the challenge, takes up the sword (and a double-barreled
shotgun) and leaps into action to put Sparda and his minions back
down once again.

Dante cuts a striking figure as Capcom's latest action hero. Boy's
got moves and skills. From quick sword slashes to matter-of-fact
point blank shooting, Dante supplies enough muscle, jumping
abilities, and rolling motion to defeat demons, spiders, and myriad
