PS Dragon Quest VII	Scans
More delays than Shenmue back in the day. More anticipation than Final Fantasy could muster. Enough expected sales to float Japan's GDP. Dragon Quest VII provides a new beginning in the DQ series but the presentation is dated. The graphics and sound are decidedly Super Famicom-ish. No visual or aural envelopes are being pushed here. It would be a fair assessment however to say that no one who wants this game is going to be deterred by the graphics or sound. DQ fans come to the table expecting story, legacy, great gameplay and atmosphere. Enix could release this game on the Super Famicom and still sell whatever they do on the Playstation. It's a behemoth...
DC ASCII Pad FT	US$38
A quality joypad that fills the need for a suitable controller in which to play Capcom fighting games with. No shoulder triggers, just six buttons that span the left portion of the pad for button mashing ass kicking. Supplies are readily available today and all pre-orders, new orders will ship today. As mentioned in yesterday's update, ASCII will ship special Capcom vs SNK versions of the ASCII Pad on September 6.
