| Nintendo closed pre-orders
overnight for the Pocket Color Gameboy. NCS has submitted our quantities but due to the
fact that Nintendo always cuts early pre-orders into multiple shipments, we are expecting
tight initial allocation with the first batch. The following Pocket colors and cartridges
will be available for retail sale on October 21. Feel free to submit a reservation by

| A large shipment of Neo-Geo cartridges arrived
today and will begin shipping to all pre-orders. For a listing, click here. Some cartridges have
already sold out but since we have to confirm reservations today, we will update
quantities tomorrow morning after the initial shipments are dispatched. |
| NCS has a small shipment of new
Neo-Geo cartridge consoles expected next Monday or Tuesday. Prices are higher than before
but each Gold Set includes two of the classic style joysticks and a game. Full details
will be posted when we take delivery. |
| NCS found a large quantity of Saturn Super Magazines over the weekend while moving stock
between warehouses. Saturn Super is a 40-70 page Saturn magazine that includes a preview
CD full of game data, miscellany and playable demos. While the previews are dated, the
magazines are somewhat collectible and provide a glimpse back to the heyday of the Saturn
console. Game data, movies and demos also provide a measure of exclusivity. |
| Capcom has opened pre-orders
for the Saturn version of Capcom Generation Vol. 03. The compilation will include Exed
Eyes, Higemaru, Sonson and Vulgus, which all hail from the early 80s. The release
date is October 24 and reservations are now being accepted.. |

| Monday's
update |
| NCS has confirmed
the date for the Saturn version of Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter
over the weekend. Capcom will begin shipping on October 22 and NCS should take delivery on
October 23. A regular CD version and a package bundled with the 4MB ram will be available.

Since the Saturn
console is nearly extinct in the USA marketplace, NCS is bringing in a large shipment of
Japanese consoles on Wednesday. The Saturn model features the white case and includes a
white joypad and all connecting cables. NCS price: USD139 with territory modification to
toggle between USA and Japanese modes of operation. |
| Capcom Generation Vol. 01 for the
Playstation and Saturn were shipped overnight from Japan. A new Samurai Spirits figure for
Nakoruru has also shipped. NCS expects to take delivery on Wednesday or Thursday morning.
Capcom Generation Vol. 02 for the Saturn is expected on September 12. |
The popularity of the Game Basic
package has engendered demand for the Sega Saturn PS2 keyboard adaptor. NCS has these
adaptors in stock but they are packaged with Netlink cartridges and a black Saturn mouse.
Our price for the set only is USD58. Roughly 30 sets are still available
in our inventory. |
| Real Hero Series
#03 Bulleta is expected later this week if there are no further shipping
problems. Bulleta joins the rest of the VS dolls that we originally received last week.
Restock on the endearing Dancing Parappa the Rapper plush doll is
expected next week after selling out in Japan quickly last week. Parappa remains a popular
video-game icon in Asia and America with many loving fans. |
NCS received a
few samples of something called "Candy Toys" on Monday. Each miniature box
contains some candy and a small video-game toy such as a Pokemon figure or a tiny LCD
game. NCS will evaluate the viability of such a product in the USA market and post details
if we decide to carry this product line. Over 130 candy toys are available with different
prizes and small toys. |
| Our shipment of restock Neo-Geo
cartridges is expected on Wednesday. Pre-orders will ship on that day while new orders for
available quantities are welcome. For a listing, click here to view what we're
expecting and the open quantities. This will be our final shipment of old Neo restock due
to the difficulty in sourcing this type of product. |
Seta will release
a new Tetris game for the N64 in October that will utilize a special bio-sensor accessory.
The bio-sensor detects the pulse rate of the player and adjusts the speed of the falling
blocks in the game. Cool cats will be able to enjoy a leisurely pace while frenetic worry
warts will see blocks rain down mercilesstly. |
