| SNK opened pre-orders for the Japanese version of Neo-Geo Pocket overnight. NCS will accept pre-orders until September 30. The NGP is expected to ship on October 28 at an expected retail price of USD68. A myriad of colors will be available including limited edition colors such as Maple Blue and Camouflage Brown. Eight games will ship along with the system upon release, ensuring gamers with a diverse gaggle of SNK fun. The domestic USA version of NGP is expected next year, likely in the second or third quarter based on information received direct from SNK of America. |

| The game that will likely sell 1:1 with each Neo Geo Pocket will be King of Fighters R-1. Although the fighting game will be limited by the two button configuration on the NGP, punching and kicking should allow for enough versatility for the conservative fighter. The screen quality of the Neo Geo Pocket is sharper and cleaner than the Gameboy with a comparable resolution of 160x152 pixels. NCS expects at least one manufacturer in Asia, Success Company, to begin manufacturing a Neo Geo Pocket Screen Light within 2 weeks of the NGP's release. | |
