DC Air

US$60

Toned down from the "adult" PC version of Air, the Dreamcast edition mimics the "all age" PC release and removes nudity and other sexually charged scenes unsuitable for children. Special features to the DC include full voice acting and new locations in town to visit. As a lanky, young player in search of love, it's all good when anime maidens sprouting hair colors as vibrant and varied as the rainbow are wandering around. Akin to real world objectifications of beauty, the girls possess unique personalities and quirks which are fleshed out as you delve into their lives. Two of the girls work at a medical office which supplies medicine to the town while another girl appears to be an alcoholic of sorts. A mild mannered but beautiful archetype and the sporty tomboy also round out the cast.

PS/PS2 ASCII Pad FT2

US$38

Dreamcast players achieved their full fighting potential by using the original ASCII Pad Fighting Type. Six buttons span across the right face of the controller whilst a tactile D-pad balances on the left portion of the pad. With the FT in hand, punches and kicks were blasted out with the quickness and in intuitive staccato. Try doing the same with the standard Sega DC controller and you'll foil yourself every time.
With the PS2 playing host to excellent fighting conversions from Capcom, Namco, and Sega, it is only fitting that the Fighting Type be crafted for the Playstation and Playstation 2 as well. Two iterations are available with the Capcom version in a striking red color (even the cord is crimson) and the SNK version in matte black. The D-pad offers just the right amount of spring and resistance while the buttons are crisp and push down with a satisfying thud - no spongy, malleable mush here. A bonus in each pad package consists of a deck of SNK or Capcom character cards. SNK and ASCII FT2 Joysticks are also in stock.

NGP Card Fighters Clash 2 Expand Edition

US$45

It's been a considerable span of time since Super Real Mahjong enticed NGP gamers with new fare. To supply new blood, Capcom and SNK collaborate once again to bring together world fighting champions in a card bout of epic gravitas and proportion. Many marquee heroes return to bolster card decks and help to best opposing legions. Crisp and clean artwork bring a visual shine to the game. Japanese language (no English) may prove a barrier for some purchasers but most will buy it just to maintain the collection. Pre-orders for CFC2 were shipped on Monday and although we are currently sold out, customers may order today and we'll ship on Friday of this week once our remaining shipments arrive from overseas.
General Updates

The remainder of our shipments of Capcom vs SNK 2 for the PS2 arrived today and all remaining pre-orders ship this afternoon. An excellent conversion to the PS2 marks this as a good sign of things to come. New orders are welcome online to ship today. Price at US$63.
DC Extreme Sports arrived a couple of days ago, months after the USA release. The bungee jumping event is something new but the overall game charges along like a run of the mill sporting-cum-chase compilation. The import price is set at US$39.
Action Replay 4M converters for the Saturn were restocked early last week before the carnage and new orders are shipping today.
A new third party "hard platform" dancing controller is being tested and we'll offer them for sale if the quality is acceptable. Since Konami can hardly supply official dancing controllers to sate the DDR hunger, we'll try these out. Shipping costs for each hard platform controller will be considerable as each unit measures 33" x 36 x 2" and weighs 8kg (19 lbs) each. As an added bonus, the arrows light up when stepped upon.

Not Thursday, but Friday Arrival

A GBA game that got lost in this week's madness was Genso Suikoden Card Stories which is now listed online and shipping to orders today.
