| Things were
so good for a stretch. Packages were arriving on time, boxes weren't getting damaged any
more and occasionally we got freight a day earlier than expected. Consider this a bump in
the road then. Our complete shipment of DOA2 LE arrived into JFK airport this morning, and
all looked fine when we checked up on it earlier today. Routine. Then our wonderful
courier decided to errantly route everything to Brooklyn where they will sit for an entire
day in a misrouted container while stacks of invoices remain sitting here. Not cool but we
are getting assurances that everything will be delivered tomorrow. No use for the harangue
since it gets us nowhere. All customer shipments will dispatch on Thursday. Apologies from
NCS for this bump in the road, we would appreciate that no changes be made since all
invoices and waybills have been processed already. Also affected were our shipments of
Napple Tale and Rayblade but Love Hina arrived since this product was shipped by itself
due to the large package size of the LE version. Thanks for understanding. |
Attempts
to order additional quantities of Dead or Alive Limited Edition have been rebuffed. Sales
have been strong and we wanted to buffer our incoming stock with some quantity for new
orders but this appears to be unlikely at this point. We are being offered the regular
edition of Dead or Alive 2 by every vendor in Asia and Japan but the LE version is now
sold out, apparently to pre-orders. If the scenario changes, we'll update accordingly. |

Shounen Manga series takes it's branding and romance to the Dreamcast in the form of an
interactive love adventure. Urashima Keitarou, spectacled admirer of female beauty and a
student, originally made a promise to a girl years ago that they would be together.
Unfortunately, the lout forgets her name. Working his way to Tokyo University, a dormitory
full of beautiful girls allows him a chance to meet his love again and make good on his

| The Love
Hina LE packaging is very large. NCS is not made aware of package dimensions when we
submit pre-orders so we did not know that the box would be so big. Vendors also do not
disclose dimensions for some reason or other. As such, pricing for Love Hina LE must be
raised a bit from the original rate of US$95 to US$115 and any air shipping rate will be
higher due to the dimensional weight classification of the game. UPS Ground rates are not
affected if you have opted to ship with Ground Service. Please note that like Dead or
Alive 2 LE, not all of our cartons arrived but we'll process and ship what we have
available today in order of reservation submissions from our customers. The remainder of
any pre-orders will ship on Thursday. Thanks. |
The limited edition of Love Hina includes a clock, a Tama
doll, an Ema board and a bath towel. Ema boards are purchased at shrines and are used as
good luck tokens for passing exams and doing well in school. The Tama Doll is a sea turtle
plush which is featured in the original manga and the clock is suitable for hanging. |

maneuvering a bubble cannon by way of a stout dragon, eagle-eye marksmanship comes in
handy. Colorful, translucent bubbles hang overhead like bunches of grapes and the task at
hand is to knock them loose by hitting them with like-colored bubbles. Taito has succeeded
with this simple game formula in arcades and in the home market for years. The year 2000
coin-op and PS2 versions add big bubbles to the mix which need to be hit multiple times
before they'll give up the ghost. In addition to the green dragons, new Taito characters
join the fun to shoot bubbles against bubbles. Colorful levels, new playboard designs and
the overall attractiveness and atmosphere of the game should pull players back in. In

As the month comes to a close, Konami keeps their promise and re-releases a new production
of the Beatmania DJ Station Pro controller in Japan. NCS will take
delivery on Thursday or Friday and pre-orders submitted to NCS will ship at that time.
Any true DJ needs to work his craft with the proper equipment. The DJS
fills this need with buttons that light up when you touch them and a high quality
turntable that registers each and every scratch, regardless of the heavy rain of scratch
bars that may test your skills. No slippage allowed here. A headphone jack and volume
control round out the professional set-up. Pricing taps out at US$90 and
NCS can accept additional orders on-line to ship this
week. |
Stocking some import products is like pulling
teeth. Tough and seemlingly delayed for as long a time as possible. Our original offer for
the DJS was made earlier this year, sometime in March, so this new production has been
wanting for a while. The next production of any BM controller will be the Beatmania II DX. |
