| With the yen strengthening
against the dollar, thoughts turn to the price effect on Japanese imports. NCS, as a
corporation, actively trades futures contracts on U.S. trreasury bonds and currency
contracts as another revenue and profit source. For example, our main play right now is
the German mark against the U.S. dollar. We are also aggressively short the U.S. 30 year
t-bond (December contract) since we think the historically low yield, among other things,
is unsustainable over the next couple of months. As of yesterday we initiated short term
positions long the Japanese yen and short the U.S. dollar. Unfortunately there was
aggressive buying of the U.S. dollar yesterday morning and the exchange rate improved in
favor of the dollar. In any case, we see the Japanese yen firming up against the dollar
over the next couple of months and we have protected our yen exchange rate with futures
contracts if our view of the currency situation comes to pass. Think of it as our
Dreamcast price insurance policy, of sorts. |

| NCS receives many, many inquiries about pricing
for the Dreamcast each and every day. At this point in time, no vendor has committed to a
set price for the Dreamcast. However, if we were to speculate on what the final cost to
the consumer would be, we would place it within the US$300 to US$350
range. Games are expected to price between US$49 to US$58.
The retail version of the Dreamcast will include the 33.6Kbs modem and the Dreamcast
Passport networking software. The release date has also been nudged back a bit to November
27. |

| Marvel Superheroes vs Street Fighter for the
Sega Saturn is a mere two weeks away. Pre-orders remain open and confirmations will begin
early next week so that we can dispatch every reservation on the same day that the game
arrives. |
|
| The Saturn video-cd decoder
has been restocked at US$95. This plug-in card allows Saturn owners to view video-cds
