| Kia Asamiya's Silent Mobius has been featured in two motion pictures and countless manga. The Attacked Mystification Police Department (AMPD) is an all girl psychic police force devoted to protecting the citizens of Tokyo from supernatural entities. Both movies center on Katsumi Liquer, the daughter of Gigelf and Fuyuka Liquer, both powerful sorcerers. Naturally, Katsumi is a young woman who is born with great magical powers and the movies detail her initial reluctance to accept them and her gradual realization that she must take responsibility for her powers. Silent Mobius is fabulously popular and similar to what Gainax has done with the Evangelion series, Case Titanic is a new episode set in the Mobius world. Note that the Playstation game is a port of the Japanese PC version that was originally released in 1990. |
