Takara God Ginrai Re-release C310		$80

Originally released in the heyday of the Transformers in 1988, Optimus Prime or God Ginrai, rocked the Japanese toy world. The original version of God Ginrai clocks in at a little over US$800 now in the collector's market when rabid fans are able to find it. Takara knows a good thing when they see it and coincidentally, they re-issue God Ginrai, which shipped to market a couple of weeks ago. The new toy includes Super Ginrai and God Bomber which are malleable mecha in their own right, changing from tractor trailer to robot and back again. The two behemoths may be combined together to form GOD GINRAI, the mighty leader of the Transformers. In stock and available for shipping today, most of our stock arrived from Japan in excellent collectible condition with no dings or pockmarks on any of the individual boxes.

Yamato Macross Valkyrie VF-1S		$68

Pre-orders are now welcome for the MACROSS VF-1S Die Cast from Yamato, due to ship in December. Also known as Roy Fokker's mech, the VF-1S is a special variant of the VF-1 Super Valkyrie which replaces the HMMP-02 micro-missile launcher pods on the aft of the mech with a single Mauler RO-X2A high-powered double action beam cannon pod. Planned weaponry inclusions include UMM7 missiles, AMM-1 missiles, and standard gunpod. Similar to other Yamato valkyries, the VF-1S transforms from battroid to gerwalk to 23cm jetfighter. Y7800.

Yamato Macross Valkyrie VF-1A Limited Ed.		$115

Available only from Japanese Toys 'R Us stores early next month, the 1/60 VF-1A Mass Production Type Valkyrie ships in a limited edition brown color shade. A 1/60 VF-1A Max Type Valkyrie is planned by Yamato for retail delivery in February of 2002. Seen in the Macross ~ Do You Remember Love movie, the VF-1A was what Maximillian Jenius used to strike terror in the hearts of all Zentraedi comers. The limited edition VF-1A features the Super Armor which is used in space travel and combat but the Max Type variant due early next year will not feature the Super Armor. Due to this change, Max Type features a white color scheme with red and black accents on the upper chest, arms, shoulders, and leg flanges. Due to the distribution limitations of the VF-1A LE toy, pricing is higher than the suggested retail of Y7800. Pre-orders are welcome via e-mail request. NCS will post another update when we begin accepting pre-orders for the VF-1A Max Type which will be priced at normal levels. A standard VF-1A Valkyrie (Hikaru Ichijo's mecha) from Yamato also ships next week.

Captain Harlock Spaceships

US$60

Manufacturer Jesnet presents three Captain Harlock space cruisers in November, all of which are made of polystone. The first ship on the left is Harlock's battleship Arcadia followed by the Queen Emeraldas. Skulking directly below, Harlock's original ship, the Death Shadow, as built by friend Tochiro and Tochi's gal pal Queen Emeraldas. Pricing for each ship stands at Y4800 and the length of each model measures 16 cm long. Pre-orders for any version may be mailed to NCS.

PS2 Neo Getter 1 Training/Repeat Figures

US$80

Manufacturer Aoshima, in collaboration with Miracle House, plans to release a limited edition NEO GETTER 1 Training Figure in November. Seen in the photo to the left, the LE robot goes with an albino color scheme with silver touch-ups. Once all supplies of the limited edition are exhausted, a repeat edition of the Neo Getter 1 toy will see release, adorned with a standard colored parts and armor. Check it out on the photo to the right. Priced at Y7800, Aoshima will also release a Shin Getter 1 figure in November. Pre-orders for either version of Neo Getter 1 may be mailed to NCS.

GBA Metal Stand...		US$5

As a favor to a supplier, we are posting some details on an upcoming accessory for the Gamecube which acts as a metal stand, of sorts, to heft your GC console about 1/2" from the ground. Four separate metal "prongs" go onto the bottom of your GC and hold it up. For what reason, we do not know but perhaps there is some odd, aesthetic appeal. NCS will stock this accessory, but we don't expect it to be a barn burner. A more useful accessory that is pending release in the next couple of weeks is the PS1/PS2 controller converter which allows the use of Dual Shock pads and other Playstation controller stalwarts on the Gamecube.

Neo Geo Sengoku 3 JAPAN		US$268

Pre-order confirmations went out this morning for the Japanese Neo Geo home cartridge version of Sengoku 3. We expect delivery on Wednesday morning and all pre-orders will ship on that day. Unfortunately, NCS is unable to offer the USA version of this game. We were not allowed to change our pre-order quantity for the Japanese Sengoku 3, which we originally submitted about 2 months ago (about 1 month before the USA version was confirmed). This quantity helps SNK determine production numbers. For us to cut our pre-order quantities at a late stage would affect how our numbers are viewed in the future. I.e, the view would be that a pre-order from NCS isn't really be a serious pre-order and thus not acceptable for any future productions of SNK products. This also applies to other products from various manufacturers and publishers. To avoid this problem of staining our repute, we have committed to purchasing our entire pre-order quantity of the Japanese Sengoku 3 game. Since there is obvious risk in any venture, we don't want to take on any additional risk with the USA version of Sengoku 3. Capital requirements for any Neo Geo game are hefty, especially with the numbers we will import this week. Thank you.
