Phantasy Star Online LE Cancelled

Regular

PSO LE which was to include an official Sega 4M visual memory card and a Sonic 2 preview disc as bonus items has been removed from Sega's December schedule. This particular LE project was aborted overnight but the regular edition of Phantasy Star Online will still ship on December 21, 2000 at Y6800. The first shipment copies of PSO include the Sonic 2 preview but restock shipments will only contain the PSO game. All pre-orders for PSO are now automatically cancelled but feel free to contact NCS if you wish to remain on our reservation list for the regular edition. Thanks.     In some respects, NCS welcomes news of PSO LE's cancellation. The product cost was too high at Y9800 and there were no exclusive pack-ins which made the deluxe edition of suspect LE fodder. Sega will sell the official 4M card separately in December at roughly US$40.
DC November Shift

Mercurius Pretty

Mercurius Pretty has been delayed from November 2nd to November 16 and Power Smash Tennis has moved from November 9th to the 23rd. Mercurius is a serially delayed game so any news of another shift is routine but the Power Smash Tennis was a surprise, especially since the USA version is already out. Perhaps there's an Anna Kournikova Digital Photo File hidden somewhere now.
Pre-orders for both games remain on file and NCS will contact customers with an update once they arrive and are ready to ship. New pre-orders are welcome via e-mail request.

Medieval alchemists spent their lifetimes searching for the Philosopher's Stone, an elusive mystical reagent with the power to spin base metals into gold. In Mercurius, you learn and experiment with alchemy while tending to a little fairy girl who sprouts into existence.

PS2

Gump & Bubba Sayings

Two days away. Two wee days before gaming "nirvana" is bestowed upon a wanting American public. There will be the rabid ones, those who stake their sleeping bags outside of unsuspecting stores and mark their territory. Like a wolf in waiting. Woe to any intruder who steps into this guarded domain as ye will face terror. Then we have the casual types, the snappy go lucky pedestrians who would stroll (not walk) into a retail establishment looking for one. When spurned, he simply shrugs and walks off - his thoughts turning to lunch or general refreshments, no longer interested. Mayhap he turns his eye upon the fair countenance of lady DC.
Two days hence, televised media coverage of the PS2 launch is inevitable and newsworthy. It will help feed a frenzy that ignited a couple of weeks ago when news of a gutted production halved the projected number of launch units. Guess the mother of all launches wasn't important enough to prepare for in the seven months after the Japanese debut. Carefully calculated, perhaps orchestrated and we have a mania in plain sight. Hype 101: This is how you do it. Live the experiment.

Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get.

I know everything there is to know about the shrimpin' business.

Well, we're all different, Mr. Hancock.

Stupid is as stupid does.

Shrimp is the fruit of the sea.

I gotta pee.
