In 1954,
Japanese film studio Toho threw Gojira up on the silver screen in his
debut to the world. The big lizard blazed out a bunch of ships in the South
Pacific, terrorized Japanese citizens, and seemingly succumbed to a weapon
called the "Oxygen Destroyer" at film's end. Of course, he ain't
going out like that. Godzilla would appear in a gaggle of follow-ups and
sequels sporting titles such as King Kong vs Godzilla, Son of
Godzilla, Godzilla vs Mothra, Godzilla vs Megaguirus, ad
infinitum. To rehash the Godzilla legend, Bandai pumps out another collection of Candy Toys based on the king of monsters. Each box includes an SD monster figure, a trading card, and a packet of sweet/sour Ramune. |
