   After Tidus made his showing in Artfx's FFX Figure Collection a couple of months ago, NCS finally gets around to importing two additional FFX figures. The Yuna figure, regretfully, is still missing in action although she was released last month. Auron and Bahamut are both in stock today and shipping to pre-orders as well as new orders. Bahamut strikes a majestic pose with a 17" wingspan and prehensile tail to boot. Auron's no slouch either, with his cool shades, double belt, and a big 'un broadsword...

   Strictly geared towards the pre-teen set, Bandai's new Candy Toy watch features mighty Digimon mugs on it's faceplate. Flip it up to reveal the digital LCD which tells time and keeps track of the date.    In 1954, Japanese film studio Toho threw Gojira up on the silver screen in his debut to the world. The big lizard blazed out a bunch of ships in the South Pacific, terrorized Japanese citizens, and seemingly succumbed to a weapon called the "Oxygen Destroyer" at film's end. Of course, he ain't going out like that. Godzilla would appear in a gaggle of follow-ups and sequels sporting titles such as King Kong vs Godzilla, Son of Godzilla, Godzilla vs Mothra, Godzilla vs Megaguirus, ad infinitum. 
   To rehash the Godzilla legend, Bandai pumps out another collection of Candy Toys based on the king of monsters. Each box includes an SD monster figure, a trading card, and a packet of sweet/sour Ramune.

To Heart Figures
To Heart Capsule Toys

   Six characters from the 13-episode To Heart animation series are recreated in a capsule toy collection where the figures are housed inside plastic "eggs". Pop open the capsule, slit open the bag containing 5-6 parts and assemble them (by way of snap pieces together) into the full figures you see in the photo. A heart shaped pedestal included in each toy set helps to stand the characters up for posing and display purposes. Good quality and details for each figure should appease the fanboy.

   Hikaru Ichijo (Rick Hunter, for you gaijin) is the first Macross pilot to get his VF-1A Valkyrie released by Yamato. Hikaru's fighter goes with red trim but the overall design is identical to regulation issue VF-1As. A limited edition Toys R' Us version with brown armor ships next week and the Maximilian Jenius edition ships early next year. Yamato usually fills pre-orders in increments and the first batch of our VF-1A units arrived today with the remainder expected in each of the next three weeks.

PS One Replacement Lens

   A supply of new, official Sony replacement CD-Roms arrived earlier this week in bulk packaging. The drive is compatible with SCPH-10x, 100x, 300x, 500x, and 700x Playstation models. They do not work with SCPH-750x and 900x motherboards due to the different arrangement of the CD-Rom mechanism and pcboard. If you experience skipping problems, dodgy loading, and other CD-Rom related issues, a new CD-Rom drive will ankle your woes.

   Fiery tempered Asuka Langley busted up a whole gang of EVA-05 units in The End of Evangelion in record time... or so she thought. The white, winged, and dummy-plugged EVAs would eventually rise from their wrecked forms, regenerate, and summarily descend upon Asuka's EVA in a fit of vengeful hunger. Build your own EVA-05 unit in this snap-lock kit which requires some glue for the limbs and paint for the body parts. Thin, plastic wings are included, which affix to a plastic exoskeleton, to complete the formidable looking model. Height measures roughly 6".

   Nothing stops the procession of ghouls and other costumed merry makers when the time comes to march. Every year, they rise to the occasion and congregate in a throng of "terror". Clever costumes, store-bought masks, and masterfully manufactured personas impress any viewers who may be in enthralled audience. True to tradition, the annual Village Halloween parade starts moving at 7PM on Spring St and runs all the way up to 22nd St. 
   With temperatures hitting the 50s tonight, costumes requiring short shorts and other frilly things won't be too conducive to pneumonia and frostbitten appendages.
