The Sakura Dreamcast is colored pink on both top and bottom shells. The Sakura
logo sits beneath the DC swirl and SD renditions of the major Hanagumi sit precociously on
the lid of the unit. A special Sakura Taisen emblazoned joypad separate from the Sakura
Dreamcast will also ship on December 29 at Y2,800 or roughly US$30. No word
yet if Sega will issue a pink keyboard to complete the internet theme of the Sakura
Dreamcast... |
| It's a New
York tradition that has lasted nearly 30 years. The annual Village Halloween Parade runs
from Spring to 23rd Street and endures for about three hours. Nevermind that it's nigh
freezing at this time of the year, costumes vary from the sheer, to short shorts, to the
willowy. The constitution of the participants appear hardened against the elements and
pneumonia is kept at bay. Greenwich Village will bear witness to an assemblage of ghouls,
gobins, and other creatively crafted beings that can only come out this night. Enjoy. |
In remembrance of the dead, the ancient Celtics created a ritual that marked
the last harvest of the year and preluded the New Year. On Samhain's Eve, the spirits are
unleashed to take free roam of the earth and rejoin the living. |
