Saturn Falcom Classics Special Edition US$65 Falcom's classic role playing games from the PC-Engine are re-released in a Saturn compendium this week. Included in this volume are Dragon Slayer, Xanadu and Y's: Vanished Omen. Victor has enhanced the intermissions in the game with full screen video-cd support. NCS only has the special edition in stock thus far. We will update the status of the regular edition as soon as it is available for shipping. |

Sonyps My Home Town: Community Pom US$58 Tamagotchi has nothing on Community Pom. This new action game features you as a young girl named Lulu who must raise and breed a creature known as a Pom. They're a marshmallowy type of creature that can be trained to perform simple tasks such as raising vegetables and building simple abodes. There are two types of game in Pom. The first type has you fighting invaders who are trying to assail your Pom community. The enemies are an interesting lot ranging from watermelon bosses to flame throwing pyrobeasts. The second type of game has you doing the strategy portion of raising Poms and training them. |

Gamest Mook Vol. 81 SF III Fan Book US$20 Sometimes freight from overseas gets lost or severely delayed. This shipment of Gamest Mooks and other magazines finally came in this morning. I believe the original dispatch was 2 months ago. In any case, the carton was in good condition and nothing inside was missing or damaged. This is the artistic dedication to Capcom's SFIII arcade game with panel art, fan submissions and professional renderings. A series of character sketches in black & white are also included which show us how the Fighters look before they're inked and finished up. | |
