| The latest
issue of Dreamcast Magazine includes a preview GD-Rom containing playable demos of Guilty
Gear X, Marionette Handler 2, and Power Smash Tennis (aka Virtua
Tennis, on these shores). Cinematic previews include Moero! Justice Schools and
Tricolore Crisis. The pages of the magazine give readers a glimpse of Hundred
Swords, Phantasy Star On-line, Power Jet Racing 2001, and Mars Matrix. In coverage of
software already released, Lack of Love is examined in detail along with Napple Tale and
Jet Coaster Dream 2. Pre-orders for this magazine will ship today and new orders are
welcome on-line. US$20. |

| Genesis 2
and Mega-Drive 2 RGB cables are now in stock and available for shipping. Please note the
DIN plug on the console end is fitted for use with the newer model of the Genesis 2 and
MD2 consoles. A version of this RGB cable for use with the original Genesis console model
will be available by next week. Pricing at US$20. |
The next RGB cable production will be for the Neo Geo cartridge console since
SNK's original cable is no longer available. |

| A largish variety of Hori controllers for the Playstation and Nintento 64
were announced overnight for reproduction in about 1 week. A Pocket controller for the PS
One was originally released about a month ago but it will be reproduced next week along
with the Hori Fighting Stick with Dual Shock capability. A new style Twin-Stick style
controller is also expected which works with mech games that may support it. A gallery of
the products expected will be posted on NCS' Tuesday update. The PS Pocket Controller is
currently in stock at NCS and we'll add it on-line by tomorrow morning. |
ASCII and Hori are considered by many vendors in Japan and Asia to be
reliable and reputable manufacturers of controllers and accessories. They fill a market
demand when primary manufacturers can't or don't want to supply a perceived need. |

Three new DC imports are expected on Wednesday
with Dream Studio, Mars Matrix, and Tricolore Crisis on
the way. Mars Matrix should sate the shooter hunger out there that is waiting for the next
arcade conversion. NCS is waiting for our delivery of Beatmania 2 DX game
and controller for the PS2 and we hope to receive this stock on Wednesday. Apologies for
the delays as Konami appear to have allocated their products, similar in fashion to
Nintendo and Sony, to ramp demand. |
Dream Studio gives aspiring creators the tools, palettes, and textures to
create original software on the Dreamcast. Game construction kits are good fodder for
those with a video vision... |
