A couple of shipments of import magazines arrived this morning. NCS was unable to update every magazine today but eight of them have been posted up. The remaining periodicals will be added to the provided link tomorrow morning. We also received Gamest Mook Vol. 159 (Street Fighter Zero 3) which we will update tomorrow as well.
Konami announced Beatmania Append 3rd Mix for the Playstation overnight. 3rd Mix was recently released in Japanese arcades and this new Playstation version ports over the arcade experience for home use. Note that the original Beatmania disc is required in order to run this new update. Pre-orders are now open but will close on November 17. Expected retail is US$32. The Beatmania DJ Deck will be reproduced along with 3rd Mix but supplies are expected to be limited. NCS is now accepting reservations for the next production of the DJ Deck in December at US$55.
NCS has contacted the customers who had their names selected for the Shining Force III Premium disc. Please try to send the coupons to us today or tomorrow so that we can make the deadline in Japan. Sega will close the offer on November 30.
The AC adaptors for the Neo Geo Pocket were shipped out sooner than expected and we expect to receive them on Friday. Reservations on hand will ship as soon as we take delivery.
Dreamcast demo units have been shipped to distribution houses in Asia and Japan. Three of the major houses in Hong Kong have received their units. One important vendor in Hong Kong also received a unit for their own demo purposes. Four houses in Japan received their consoles but there was only one problem. The expected demo disc containing Sega Rally 2, Virtua Fighter tb and Pen Pen Tricelon did not arrive with the consoles so the DC units are only being used to play music CDs. One of the companies that we deal with has already opened up the console and joypad to check out the innards and plan their own line of joypads, joysticks, VMS clones, etc. Pehaps their own DC accessory line will be available as soon as the Dreamcast hits the scene.
If a SONYPS or SATURN game is listed as out of stock on our product listings, we can usually still restock it for you. Special requests take about 2 weeks but most, if not all items, can be fulfilled.
