D2 Cover Scans
NCS has obtained the covers
of all of the upcoming D2 variants and have posted a preview page for customers who still
can't decide on which version to get. Note that the Bliss, Eclipse and Hope packages are
available in the first production shipment while the Laura cover variant will be released
a week later in a re-issue from Warp. The back cover for all four versions is the same. |

The November issue of
Freak offers mook quality coverage on King of Fighters 99 and previews
the Dreamcast/Naomi version of SNK vs Capcom. An article on Prehistoric
Isle 2 reminds us that this shooter is one of the best looking in the genre to
arrive in Japan for a while now. PI2 also borrows an idea that we originally saw in the
retro-classic Defender. You get the chance to save humans from burning builders and drop

The latest issue of DC Magazine
includes a GD-Rom containing 7 playable demos of upcoming games including Bangaioh,
Berserk, and the surprisingly good Death Crimson 2. Back
in the early days of the Saturn, Death Crimson caused resentment and loathing in the
hearts of many customers who dared to buy and try it. It appears that Ecole have learned a
few tricks in gameplay, execution and graphical presentation since those dire Saturn days.
Death Crimson is a gun shooter that throws robots and monsters at the
player. Pick them off with well-aimed shots. Berserk is a bloody, bloody
action game and Bangaioh is excellent on the high resolution DC. All
pre-orders for the magazine will ship today. |
