The Sanrio Christmas Plush Toy collection (US$50) arrived this morning and will ship to reservations today. The quality is excellent with each plush toy exhibiting a holiday theme. The cast of six in this collection are:
Hello Kitty In pink Santa suit and holding a green wreath
Mimi Half inside a green stocking and wearing a green cap
My Melody In usual red regalia but also holding a green wreath
Badtz Maru Wearing a blue Santa suit and blue cap. He looks mad?
Pochacco In red Santa suit with gift bag over right shoulder
Purin Half inside a gold stocking and wearing a gold cap
Every once in a while, when traffic on this site increases, our web service provider asks to review our service rates and raise them if necessary. This is again the case, but we are noticing that some sites are linking to our graphics files and certain individual pages, which are occasionally very large. Please refrain from doing this. If you wish to use the graphics on this site, please save them to your local server instead of referencing to us. NCS is currently charged for over 20 gigabytes of transfers per month. The recent changes in the design and sizes of graphics files used on this site should have reduced the bandwidth that we were using, but it has gone up much more than expected in the past month. Traffic is especially heavy during the day, which causes slowdowns when other sites are loading the graphics on our server. Thankfully, this problem is not widespread but it is noticeable. NCS does not mind if other domains use our graphics and scans, you're welcome to them, but please save them to your own servers so that our page is more efficient for our customers and visitors. Thanks for your cooperation.

Candy Toy of the Day

Hello Kitty Keychain  $3

When looking at Hello Kitty, it is easy to assume that it is a creature that only pre-teen girls would love. That deduction would be wrong. Grown women in their 30s still sport Kitty pens, stationary, bracelets, even designer fingernail imprints. Oh, and keychains.

Candy Toy for Wednesday

NCS and a NYC based internet design company are still working towards an on-line transaction shopping catalog for the NCS homepage. We started it this past summer and were not pleased with the initial results. We are working towards a versatile cart system where a customer will be able to click on any item featured on one of the daily update pages, or anywhere on the site, and order it on-line. It's a lot more complicated than it sounds, especially when we want the server to recognize unique visitors and "remember" their information. We are mullling over several different packages right now and hope to have it implemented before the new year. NCS receives many inquiries on how to order from our company, and the on-line shopping system would answer all of those queries. For now, e-mail, phone or fax are the only options we can offer for orders.
SONYPS R-Type Delta was shipped overnight but it appears that it will arrive on Friday instead of on Thursday, as expected. R-Type will be the only new import this week. A bulk of new SATURN and SONYPS imports are expected next week as the Japanese market enters the pre-holiday rush.
With the holidays on the way, special import requests may be mailed to ncs@escape.com for Super Famicom, Saturn, Playstation, Gameboy, and PC-FX items. We won't be able to get everything but it can't hurt to ask, especially when you've been looking for a certain title for a long time.
