Einhander Shot We've had a good week in terms of imports. Einhander (US$60), Gallop Racer 2 (US$58), Other Life Azure Dreams ($58) and Battle Formation ($58) are now in stock for the Playstation. We also have Magical School Lunar (US$58) and Zero Divide: The Final Conflict ($49) for the Saturn. The USA releases for this week were not too shabby either: SONYPS NCAA Gamebreaker, Parappa the Rapper, Star Wars: Teras Kasi and SATURN Sonic R are all in stock at $42. Aero Fighters Assault for the USA N64 (US$60) came in yesterday. A large amount of restock is available this week. Some notable titles: SATURN Thunderforce V Special Edition (US$62) and the Japanese Neo-CD version of King of Fighters '97 (US$60). We also have the mega Sega Virtua Stick Pro available at US$149.
Neo-Geo Freak The November issue of Neo-Geo Freak features a new Neo-Geo game called Shock Troopers that brings back fond memories. We can comfortably compare it to action shooters from the past such as Ikari Warriors, Heavy Barrel, Midnight Run and the dozens of other "run, shoot, collect power ups" games that were so popular in the late 80s. Shock Troopers should be available next month for the MVS, cartridge and CD. The Neo-Geo Freak link features three screenshots of Shock Troopers for your perusal. We have a total of 11 new magazines this week and one new book that features some stunning artwork from the Lindacube video game. Lindacube is an adventure that places you in charge of saving a bunch of animal species by putting them onto your cosmic ark. It's good fun and the beautiful artwork in the book convey the maturity and humor in the video game.
X-Men vs SF US$68 X-Men vs Street Fighter will be arriving next Monday. The first 4MByte ram card game is a superb arcade translation with almost no discernible differences from the original JAMMA kit. This week, NCS will post some comparison pictures between the arcade and Saturn versions to show the excellent quality of the game. NCS has been taking pre-orders for over 2 months now and all confirmed reservations will ship out on November 24. Our price for the X-Men/SF package is US$68 which includes the game and the 4MB ram cartridge. Capcom plans to support the 4MB card with most of their future Saturn releases which include Dungeons & Dragons Collection and Vampire Saviour.
Daily Journal In Friday's Daily Journal we take a look at all of the stuff that is in stock today for the USA Playstation. The Guncon with Namco's Time Crisis is colored black and we must issue our usual word of caution to customers: Never carry the Guncon to your local convenience store or wave it erratically in a public area while muttering about the injustices of society. Oh, and lest we overlook it, Enemy Zero is now available for the USA Saturn.
