A Neo Geo Narrative

Oink

A couple of weeks ago, NCS offered a healthy selection of Neo Geo and Neo-CD titles for sale. This stock was new, unopened and offered through some of SNK's Japanese distributors who still supported the company. In other words, SNK actively solicited purchase offers from these houses and NCS submitted pre-orders accordingly. We were then asked to wire funds to secure the stock. We did so, to the tune of a substantial sum. In the past week, some developments came to light that undermined this offer.
NCS will still be able to provide a selection of Neo Geo stock, roughly 36 different cartridge titles and 22 CDs but not the original offer that we had posted and unfortunately pre-paid for. The inner workings of SNK remain inexplicable but it's futile to decipher it. The Neo Geo stock will arrive this week but to avoid further confusion and/or problems, we will post the complete listing once we have all of the cartons on hand and in our stock. Apologies to customers for the difficult developments. NCS will contact those who have pre-ordered with an update once everything is in.
At the end of the day, this SNK supply shortfall will be a blip on our journey. Nevertheless, it's an annoyance of some proportion. Looking ahead, we'll make the best of things and process all pre-orders expeditiously.
NCS will also begin confirming orders for King of Fighters 2000 within the next week or two so that we can process and ship all pre-orders efficiently. An entry has been added to the on-line store for new customers to submit their order information.
Sin & Punishment, Others

Sublime

NCS expects to restock Nintendo 64 Sin & Punishment on Thursday of this week. On-line pre-orders will be processed and shipped once the game arrives. New pre-orders are welcome.
In addition to the Neo Geo cartridge and CD restock expected this week, a selection of European Neo Geo Pocket cartridges is expected late this week.

Demand for various imports always seems to surge around this time of year. Preparations are being made for restock to arrive comfortably before the winter holiday.
Week's Import Outlook

ToE LE

Quiz Ah My Goddess! LE ships for the Dreamcast this week and NCS expects to take delivery on Wednesday. The Playstation gets active with the third Square Millenium Collection comprised of Chrono Cross, Parasite Eve 2, and two versions of Xenogears (Ellie and Fei). Tales of Eternia regular and limited editions and Rockman X5 are also on the way for the PS. Playstation 2 fans get a shot at Unison from Enix and Toudai Shougi, another wacky Shogi game on the mighty PS2 hardware. Finally, the Neo Geo Pocket is finally graced with the release of Big Bang Pro Wrestling, Infinity Cure, and Nigeronpa. These three should close out the year for the little handheld that could.   The limited edition of Tales of Eternia ships in a special gift box and includes the following premium goods: A table clock with Eternia character designs, a mobile phone carrying strap, five character mascot figures for use with the phone strap, and a visual artbook featuring sketches and designs.
