Imports
Flood
Virtua On: Oratorio Tangram is only one of the many DC imports expected next week. It is however by far, the biggest pre-order on our books with Star Gladiator 2 following it's heels. NCS expects the DC shipment next Wednesday and will begin confimring pre-orders this weekend. The pricing for the DC Twinstick is not known at this time. The package is very large per controller and we'll have to see the shipping cost per unit before pricing the item. DC stock expected next week:
Angel Mahjong: Shangri-la Marvelous
Bangaioh Treasure
Roller Coaster Dream Binbo
Star Gladiator 2 Capcom
Twinstick Controller : VOOT Sega
Virtual On Oratorio Tangram Sega
Yukyu Gensokyoku 3 Mediaworks

Product Delays and Dates
Final Fight Revenge for the Saturn is now listed as "indefinite" and Capcom have set no firm date for it's release in Japan. Pre-orders are now on hold pending further details.
Sakura Taisen Hanagumi Columns for the Dreamcast has been delayed from December 16 to January 06.
DC Bio-Hazard: Code Veronica is now slated for February 03, 2000. Further delays possible but unlikely.
Dreamcast train conductors of a virtual sort get to ride and control their own megaton iron behemoth when Densha de Go! 2 hits the DC console scene on January 20, 2000.
Imports
Shenmue Limited Edition Open
NCS closed pre-orders for the special Shenmue version earlier this week but we have received another allocation promise from a vendor for additional quantities to ship at release. Due to the heavy e-mail flow that is currently hitting our company mailbox, we ask that any new pre-orders for Shenmue LE be placed through the on-line store and not via e-mail request. The price stands at US$65 and should remain at this level. Should the yen rocket to 80 per dollar, then we have a problem but that is unlikely in the next couple of weeks. If you have previously placed a pre-order for Shenmue, your reservation is intact and accounted for. If you tried to pre-order a Shenmue LE and was only confirmed for the regular edition, you will automatically be upgraded to the LE box. There is no need to contact NCS to change from regular to special edition as we will likely only bring in the LE box due to the minor price disparity and overall demand. We should be able to accept and fulfill any and all pre-orders for the special edition of Shenmue.

On a related note, customers have asked if Shenmue's official release date of December 29 will be pushed up to an earlier ship date. It is possible but NCS anticipates delivery of stock in the USA on December 29 based on a vendor ship date of December 27. No outbound freight is expected on December 24 due to the Christmas holiday.

Space Channel 5
An enjoyable playable preview of Sega's upcoming Space Channel 5 arrived earlier this week and we got a chance to inspect it yesterday. The game borrows ideas from previous dance rhythm action games but adds a troupe of gyrating dancers to the mix for some group grooving. The far-fetched story pits human dancers led by a leggy redhead against invading aliens in a bid to save the earth by dancing. Travolta would be proud...

NCS has also received posters, placards, and assorted promotional material for Space Channel 5. The girl in the game appears to be headed for cultural icon status in Japan if the flood of SC5 material is any indication. The demo is not for sale. Thanks.
