| Gamest has been around for a long time. We
figure it's been about 10 years since the first issue, when the arcade scene was in it's
middle ages and JAMMA was the all around standard for arcade hardware. Little has changed
since then. The Japanese scene is still populated with fighting games and shooters still
come out with seasoned regularity. There's a lot more 3-D and prettier graphics running on
32-bit processors but the genres remain the same. |
