Elf is reknowned in the Japanese PC and Saturn market for their line of adult-themed video game titles. Names such as Nonomura Byouin No Hitobito and Classmate are legend among voracious fans and connoisseurs of the craft that Elf weaves. Elf's work is an acquired taste and their games always portray adult themes with dating, consensual sex and the occasional deviancy. Yu-No is their latest sim and it brings new girls, characters and intrigue into the gaming fold. NCS will stock the limited edition of Yu-No next week and only pre-orders currently on hand will be fulfilled due to the tight allocation of this game in the Japanese marketplace. |
| The model for Snobo Kids, the next N64 import after Dual Heroes, may not be as attractive as the model for Yu-No but she does have a certain quality about her. From her bare midriff to her hourglass figure, she's not far from the hearts of many a young man. Snobo Kids is a snowboarding game in the style of previous sims such as Cool Boarders and Zap! Snowboarding Trix. The difference would be that all five characters in Snobo have very large noses. One character even looks like Wimpy from the Popeye cartoon, complete with burger in hand and large bulbous nose in tow. Snobo's other discerning feature is that the graphics are all cartoony and unlike the photo-realistic stylings of Cool Boarders and Zap. | ![]() Snobo features the ability to spin, jump, and even rotate as you motor down the slopes. A 4 player simultaneous split screen option is also available. Snobo Kids is due on December 12 at US$60. |
