Shenmue LE
A small allocation of a special Shenmue VMS wrist strap is being offered to
NCS with our pre-order of SM. It appears that we will receive one VMS strap for every ten
copies of SM LE that we have ordered. Due to this small allocation, NCS will include the
VMS strap randomly with retail orders for the LE edition. This is the
fairest way that we can figure to allocate the wrist straps.
Pre-orders for Shenmue Limited Edition are welcome through the on-line store under
Dreamcast / DC Pre-orders. All reservations received by NCS are guaranteed to ship in the
first dispatch when the stock arrives on December 29. |

King of Fighters 99 has been added to the on-line store for secure server
ordering. American and Japanese versions are in stock for shipping on the same day of any
order. |

Holidays
Japan will go on vacation from December 24 through January 03, with a respite
during the last week of December for some vendors to ship outbound goods. Note that
products that are slated for the final week of December will arrive at NCS on December 29.
This includes Shenmue and any other Playstation or DC titles scheduled for that week. In
other words, little chance of an early dispatch of Shenmue. |

Playstation 2
Most vendors in Japan and the USA are busy preparing for the 99 holiday
season but the PS2 looms large. Expected in roughly 3 months, the PS2 is expected to be
the biggest console launch in history with 1 million debut units claimed by Sony. NCS
expects to give full pre-order details and pricing early next year. If the supply holds
true to the 1 million mark, domestic pricing should come close to parity with the Japanese
yen retail since supply should outstrip initial demand. Watch and wait... |
