This week looks like a split shipment week with the VOOT + Twinstick delayed
one day due to the size of the Twinstick containers. NCS has received Star
Gladiator 2 and Let's Play Golf today but VOOT, Twinsticks,
Bangaioh, etc will arrive tomorrow. If you have placed an order for VOOT
and the Twinstick, we would recommend not using an air service to ship
them due to the size and weight of the packaging + product but please let us know if you
wish to keep air shipping. Here then is what arrived this morning: |

Dreamcast Twinstick
Pricing
Apologies for the delays in notifying our customers about the pricing for the
Twinstick controller but these will be priced at US$68 per
unit. We are loathe to even bring such behemoths into the country with an air courier
service but selling VOOT without them didn't seem right since many customers wanted them.
All VOOT + VOOT/Twinstick orders will ship tomorrow. Note that the DC Link Cable has not
been released by Sega yet although we expect it to ship next week at US$35. |

New DC Magazines
Two new issues of Dreamcast Magazine and the January 2000 issue of Dreamcast
Fan arrived today. NCS will post magazine coverage tomorrow morning through a separate
link. |

Restock Contingencies
NCS occasionally accepts special orders for restock items that we place with
our vendors in Japan. Lately however, we have noticed that many supplies of goods are
simply not available or unavailable from the usual sources. This problem is explained by
risk aversion and the fact that all old stock is considered risky by every vendor. The
market is changing very quickly and new consoles and products invariably garner all of the
buying power of consumers, leaving older items in want of prospective buyers. If you have
recently placed a special order with NCS, please allow a bit more time than usual because
we are now sourcing product from new vendors who have better supply lines on older
product. |
