In our periodicals
for this week, we have a new Lunar manga reprint compilation from Kadokawa Comics that
features all of the major characters from Silver Star. The manga is entitled Lunar -
Yonenki No Owari and is 175 pages with black & white artwork. Another special item
that we have this week is restock on the Marie Atelier Perfect Guide Book from Shinseisha.
The Saturn version of Atelier is expected next week so this guide should give would-be
alchemists direction as they help Marie gather ingredients to mix the perfect elixir. The
Guide also includes character sketches and colorful Atelier artwork. Finally, we have
restock on last week's popular Gamest Mook Vol. 103 which features SNK artwork and manga.
We can restock on most of the recent Gamest Mooks but the very old ones are difficult to
get now as they have been out of print for years and the only stock that might be
available is any overstock or left-over stock from distributors who have not sold off
their initial orders. But even this is rare since very few vendors are willing to hold any
publications for over a year. |

In today's
journal, we take a look at a recent release on the Saturn called Nanatsu Kaze no Shima
Monogatari. Few games are as charming, or as beguiling. A fair level of Japanese language
understanding is a pre-requisite however. Nanatsu comes to us from Enix and was one of the
eleven imports on the Saturn that we stocked last week. We also have a preview disc for
Grandia available today and the game looks gorgeous. This three disc RPG is expected to be
one of the biggest releases on the Saturn this quarter and we will have two versions
available: a limited edition with a bonus fan pack and a regular edition. Please pre-order
in the next couple of days if you wish to have either version reserved for you. We cannot
guarantee all limited edition pre-orders taken after today but we will try our best to
fill them. Grandia is expected on December 19. |
