latest installment in the Eldorado Gate series arrived today, two days earlier than
expected. Pre-orders will ship this afternoon and NCS will post details on the game
tomorrow morning. The company has been caught off-guard by the early appearance. |
It
would've been sweet if Guilty Gear X LE hit today but the schedule
remains for it to arrive on Wednesday of this week. |

| The crystal
clear, limited edition Dreamcast joypad controller is expected this week while the crystal
clear VMU is slated for next week. Apparently, the peripherals are see-through and not
clouded by smoky plastic such as the Millenium Pads or the DC shells. Pricing is set at
US$35 for either item. Pre-orders are welcome. |
Some cool DC items are only available on Sega's DD but the holiday spirit
appears to have allocated crystal joy to the world. |

| Next week
is a doozy. The last week of Christmas shopping always spikes retail sales another notch.
It's the blue whale in the sea of December. In terms of shipping volume, Neo Geo King
of Fighters 2000 will be the biggest game during the week of December 18 and will
beat DC Last Blade 2 FE handily. In the interest of keeping NCS'
operations running smoothly next week, we shall begin confirming and processing pre-orders
for KOF 2000 starting on Wednesday of this week. We ask that customers respond at their
convenience but a prompt reply would be appreciated so that we can prepare airway bills,
invoices, and packaging for next week's flood. NCS expects to ship all pre-orders on
December 21 (Thursday). Overnight shipping is available for delivery on December 22.

The remainder of NCS' assortment of Neo Geo cartridges and CDs have been posted on the on-line store for general
sales and orders. Samurai Shodown USA, Samurai Shodown 3 USA, and Top Hunter are still
available as of this morning and NCS will contact those customers who reserved some of
these games today to complete pre-orders. |

Eldorado
Gate Vol. 2 is already in for the Dreamcast and we expect Guilty Gear X
LE on Wednesday and Samba de Amigo 2000 on Friday. Shipping
schedules get wacky around this time of the year but staggered shipments are okay so
retailers can cope.
Pokemon Crystal is expected on Thursday for the Gameboy
Color to continue the world spanning obsession. The Helicopter lands on
Wednesday for the original Playstation and Muscular Ranking Vol. 3 pumps
it up on Thursday.
The biggest rash of imports ship for the PS2 this week led by Dead or
Alive 2 Hardcore, Dark Cloud, Dream Audition 2
and Kengo. Following that lead are Dog of Bay, Crazy
Truck Action Love & Sadness, First Step Victorious
Boxers, and Neo Atlus 2. That's eight new releases scheduled for
Thursday. Two titles that were also expected have been delayed to an unspecified date: Game
Select 5 and Live World Soccer 2000 U23.
The snowboarding game Happy Boarders in Hokkaido was delayed one week. |
The Wonderswan Color LE package is due on Wednesday, we are scrambling to
source this item from alternative partners as the Japanese suppliers were pitifully unable
to sate local demand in Japan. So, they gave up the ghost to their retail shops. This
means export accounts such as NCS were chopped of our pre-orders. It never fails. Pricing
will change from the US$125 that we orignally posted last week but we'll
update the madness on Wednesday. |
