| Three new
chapters continue in the second volume of Capcom's Eldorado Gate serial RPG. The
characters in contention include Elishin, a master sword fighter whose
skill is renowned in the world of Eldorado. The morbid looking Ein defies
his appearance and seeks the companionship of people and fears loneliness. He was created
thousands of years ago and excavators re-discover him and bring him back into a new world
in which he'll have to adapt. Finally, Kobdo,
half human and half animal comes to terms with his existence as he may be the last of his
kind. Perhaps there is another like him in the world of Eldorado Gate. |

Summary |
Guilty Gear
X is the main feature in this new issue of DCM. Game modes are displayed including the
standard arcade mode, survival mode and a recording mode so that you can replay battles to
see where you went wrong (or right). A natty moves list gets the player started with
special moves for all of the characters in the game. The game gets an 8.33 in the reviews
section of the magazine. Samba de Amigo 2000 scores likewise.
The remainder of the issue treats readers to previews of Sonic 2 (looking
luscious), Detective Dash (hentai flavor), Fighting Vipers 2, and Daytona USA 2001.
The hardware review section checks out EMS' Total Control 3 adaptor and gives
the Saturn analog pad, twinstick, racing wheel, and light gun a test. Old news but the
pictures are nice. In Arcade Express, we scope out Namco's new Gunbarina shooting game.

mounting a coup against the lord of the castle, a vassal must have strong allies. There is
strength in numbers, even if some may turn out to be cannon fodder. This new battle for
the handheld fiefdom lorded over by Nintendo begins with the right amount of hype,
excitement, and support. We have a contender...
As mentioned on Monday's update, supplies are limited but NCS will begin
processing pre-orders today. No new orders are being accepted at this time. |
