($68), Maria ($65), Ryuma Ishin Kaikoku

Mission Alternative is the long awaited realtime 3-D strategy game from Square while Angel
Eyes is a new fighting game featuring female fighters. One girl uses a teddy bear as her
shield. Earlier in the week, we had Namco's Disneyesque platformer Kaze

Hiryu No
Ken (US$60) came in yesterday for the Nintendo 64. This fighting game features SD and
regular size Northstar characters. The Nintendo rumble pak is supported with each blow
measuring a tingle or a wallop depending on the power of the hit. The picture to the left
shows the characters in their adult sizes. The SD characters are cuter but no less vicious
in their fighting style and level of aggression. Chameleon Twist
(US$49) and Snowbo Kids (US$60) are also in stock this week for
the Nintendo 64. |

Armored Core: Project Phantasma is
now restocked for the Playstation at US$50. New missions, equipment and mech parts all
help to make this another thrilling episode in the Armored Core world. We also have
restock on the standard Saturn single Virtua Stick Pro (US$49), Dual Shock pads (US$40),
more XRGB-1 units ($215) and additional restock on Yuna III and Cotton II (both are US$52)
for the Saturn. Please note that the Dual Shock pads are taken from new SCPH-7000 systems
and as such do not come with retail Dual Shock boxes. All of the pads are new however.
Dual Shcck is sold out in Japan so we had to obtain them in this manner. |

There is a dearth of periodicals this week but we do have a new Bloody Roar strategy
guide (US$22) that details all of the characters and their moves. Our shipment of
magazines was damaged but we do have a few copies that are in good condiiton. Please note
that we do not have any copies of Neo Geo Freak or TV Gamer for sale due to extensive
water damage. The other magazines have roughly 5-6 copies that are saleable so feel free
to order them if you so desire. Saturn Fan is unaffected because it came with an express
shipment and not by surface. |
| In today's journal,
we preview some of next week's expected titles: Real Bout Special for the Saturn and
Rockman Neo should both be in stock on Monday while Chocobo Dungeon and Gran Turismo
should make it by Tuesday. Please try to submit your pre-orders or reservations over the
weekend although we should have enough stock to cover everyone. Dual Shock pads are still
available and we have another large shipment coming in on Monday so fans can enjoy Turismo
with the full road effects being relayed at every twist and turn |
