| By the
information gleaned overnight, NCS should take delivery of the Neo Geo King of Fighters
2000 cartridge on Wednesday. Our preparations earlier in the week will buffet the early
arrival and all pre-orders will be shipped tomorrow if the cartridge arrives in time.
Should there be any shipping delays, then the latest date that we would receive the game
would be Thursday. NCS was also able to bump up our allocation and new orders for the
cartridge are welcome but these will ship on Thursday and Friday of this week. Due to the
heavy shipping that we will process on Wednesday, NCS is unable to accept any order
revisions or changes as of today. It's locked, loaded and everything is now prepared for
immediate dispatch. |
Shipping logistics are ponderous when large volumes are involved. Many things can go awry
including late delivery, lost packages, misdirection, and even outright theft. We've
experienced the spectrum in our years but we're crossing our fingers and hope that nothing
gets mangled as cartons ride across the Pacific. |

We should
have waited until next week to bring these in but some overseas offers only last for a
couple of hours before all the stock is gone. So, they're here and they'll add to this
week's wave. A partial listing is posted below. Unfortunately, we will not have time this
week to post these on-line but customers with established accounts are welcome to reserve
or order the titles listed below to ship today or with orders that are shipping this week.
E-mail requests are fine. Some of the titles are
fairly rare and we were surprised to locate the Square shooter Internal Section
and Sony's Brightis, which we figured were long lost to the export
market. These usually languish in Japanese shops with no export links or the desire to
export.

NCS will process and ship orders on Saturday and Sunday, December 23 and 24, with Postal
Priority and Express Mail. The latter will deliver to you on Christmas day for those who
are late procrastinators. On-line order submissions will be processed throughout the week.

As of this week, UPS is no longer guaranteeing overnight and second day deliveries. This
does not mean that overnight shipments won't arrive on time, just that refunds will not be
given if packages are delayed. Please note this when ordering. |

We became leery a couple of weeks ago when Asian suppliers contacted our
company and offered USA Playstation 2 consoles at the rate of US$430 per. They explained
that a NY based company had offered them a motherlode of units that were readily
available. Numbers in the thousands were bandied. The enthusiasm from these normally staid
partners was infectious. For about a minute. We sat, we thought and we reasoned with them.
If this company really did have stock, they could easily distribute them in the local
market for $430 and upwards. We'd buy a chunk directly if it was possible. Besides, we're
in New York and we would have heard of any available supply in the channel. They chewed on
that for a while. "But, we are new friends, we can become new partners!", came
the replies from believers. Most held onto their bankrolls after pondering but one company
was hooked and visited New York last week. They got nothing, save a worthless trip during
the busiest time of the year. Scamcity. |
