Sonic Adventure (US$65) is now in stock for the Dreamcast. We've only had a chance to view the magnificent intro but this will be the game that we'll be curling up with this weekend.

Sega's follow-up to this past summer's Godzilla VMS arrived yesterday in the form of the Mothra VMS (US$35). Here, you raise Mothra from a cocoon into the mighty winged fighting insect that monster cinema lovers know and adore. As a nice bonus, a three headed dragon figure is included in the packaging.

The next shipment of Dreamcast consoles will arrive on December 29. Starting in the first or second week of January, NCS should be able to keep a sizable inventory of Dreamcast units in stock so that it will be no problem for customers to simply call us up and order one. The days of waiting for bulk shipments may be coming to an end and we're working towards maintaining a revolving inventory of stock. As prices begin to trend down next year, we will again start contacting customers on our reservation listing to check if the prices are more suitable for their budgets and target price ranges. NCS will post any new Dreamcast price changes on our products listing as well as our daily updates when they happen.
NCS shipped a number of Dreamcast orders where the customer wanted a DC S-Video cable. Note that the cables did not come in and will only be available next year, sometime in early January. As a result, all S-Video cables will be shipped when we take delivery. NCS apologizes for the delays.

Street Fighter Zero 3 (US$51) for the Playstation is now available. NCS will be frank in that we did not expect much - after all, we're used to Capcom doing their best console work on the Sega Saturn. However, SFZ3 is surprisingly good and crisp - the game is fast, the control is taut and the conversion is top tier. Impressive stuff from the fine lads at Capcom - we just wish we had more time to play it this morning - very, very busy.
Chocobo's Magical Dungeon 2 (US$65) and Tales of Phantasia (US$53) and Beatmania 3rd Mix (US$39) for the Playstation are also in stock today. Due to time constaints this morning, scans for these titles will be posted on the website tonight.
NCS will be at work for the full business day tomorrow. It's too busy to leave early since we still have a lot of orders to process and ship with Express Mail Service. Please note that orders should be submitted by 3:00PM to ensure timely dispatch due to earlier pick-ups on Thursday.
A neat little Beatmania handheld game arrived this morning. The unit is self-contained and may be played on the train, in the car, at the studio, wherever. NCS will post full details and a review of the unit tomorrow morning. Orders are welcome at US$29.
NCS went short the S&P500 with a single futures contract on Tuesday. If we see further weakness today, we will add to our position in increments. To hedge our speculation, we bought a single call on IBM for the January 180 strike. These are short term positions that we will not hesitate to close out if the market moves against us by more than our threshhold and pain points. Occasionally we will let small positions like the ones that we initiated yesterday run for the duration of the contract but we still believe in capital preservation and that nimble trading is the only way to play the current market. We keep in mind that December and January are usually bullish for the market.
