| Sega

| Beatmania
DJ Station Pro |
| Konami announced a new DJ control deck for their popular Beatmania game
overnight. Shipping in January '99, the new turntable controller will feature buttons that
flash red when you hit them and includes inputs and outputs for audio and video. An output
jack for a pair of headphones is also standard issue with the new DJ deck. Konami lists
the Japanese retail at Y7800 or roughly NCS $75. In the meantime, NCS has large supplies
of the current Beatmania DJ Deck at US$55 and Beatmania
3rd Mix at US$39. Pre-orders are welcome. |
| Pre-order
by simply e-mailing NCS
with your name, address, telephone number and a brief message. We'll confirm pre-orders a
few days before the item arrives. |

| Gameboy
Wireless |
| Konami also announced the Gameboy Getter nylon case
overnight. For use with the Pocket Gameboy and the Color Gameboy, the case will endow the
venerable handheld with infra-red beams for wireless communications with your friends who
also have a Gameboy Getter. The nylon case includes a holding strap, a battery compartment
and small pockets to store your GB carts, cables, etc. This new device will act as a
wireless form of the Gameboy Comm Cable. NCS will take delivery on January 28 at a retail
of Y2980 or NCS $33. Pre-orders welcome. |

| Retail
Ambition |
| After receiving a good number of faxes from our stores in the local area,
NCS will likely decide to open up small with our first retail location. Long term resale
accounts feel threatened by our goals and have expressed themselves (some have voiced
their opinions rather boisterously) to us. We don't want any animosity or put anyone out
of business but we absolutely need a retail location as a sales channel that we have
complete control of. NCS has to assess the market every couple of months to see what has
changed and what needs to be changed. No company should remain static, especially when the
environment is in constant flux - it should view the landscape and adjust accordingly to
new condiitions. However, NCS will bow to pressure in that the first venture will be a
modest one. This hampers our plans somewhat but we do wish to maintain a semblence of
order and retain our accounts in the local market. There are delicate politics and cross
currents in this business that are unseen at the gross level. NCS will proceed with our
plans - they are critical to our overall retail operations but for the immediate future,
the retail location push will be smaller than we initially wanted. |

|
| Shopping
on-line |
| NCS will have on-line shopping implemented in January of 1999. We
had so many packages and services to decide on but we have found a commercial service that
is closest to what we wanted in terms of simplicity and versatility. This should help our
web operations immensely. |

| Capital
Market Position Trades |
| No
modifications to our long positions. We may have seen a short term blow-off top on the
Nasdaq in the last session but if it somehow continues to rise, the index looks good for
another 100 points to the upside on nothing more than trading mania and funds managing
their portfolios. We will stay nimble in setting trailing stops to protect our profits and
minimize any trading losses. NCS did enjoy watching the AMZN and YHOO trades yesterday -
rollercoaster mega-tulip-mania. |
