offered for sale in the Asian and Japanese marketplace. The DC swirl and the Dreamcast
lettering are represented on both pieces of apparel. Available in black or white, the two
piece package is expected next week at $25. |

Dreamcast console shipment |
| NCS is expecting a new shipment of DC consoles later this week. If
we are unable to take delivery due to shipping delays, we should have the stock by next
Monday or Tuesday. Due to certain problems that are being reported from customers on their
new consoles, NCS must now extend the testing period for DCs to at least 1-2 hours per
unit. The most prevalent problem being reported is video glitching as the console heats
up. Despite what NEC claims, there are problems with good-sized batches of their chips
that were shipped to production. Our defect numbers don't lie and we get it first hand
when a console malfunctions. Our DC manufacturing defect rate will have to be adjusted
from what we posted last week. NCS has logged the reported problems and will contact
customers when the next DC shipment arrives for exchanges. New orders for the Dreamcast
are welcome but please note that NCS will throroghly test each new DC console so your
shipment may be delayed by one day from your ordering date. |

of the Dead 2 |
| From
Naomi to Dreamcast, Sega's House of the Dead 2 has been confirmed for
March 18, 1999. Featuring an army of zombies to dismember and eviscerate, HOD2 offers a
grim and gut wrenching gun battle. Chunks of flesh will hurl and body parts blow apart
like so much flotsam - this isn't something for the timid of heart. A regular GD-Rom
package and a special package with the new DC gun will both ship on 03/18. An updated
Dreamcast pre-order
schedule with the HOD2 addition and the addition of Get Bass has
been posted for your pre-ordering reference. |

| Along with our on-line ordering implementation next month, NCS is
exploring the possibility of adding a classifieds section to our homepage. We receive many
used game offers from customers that we can't buy but perhaps our other customers can use
the product and trade or sell amongst themselves. A message board would also be cool but
we have looked at a number of messaging formats and hated them all. We'll keep looking. |

| The integration of Europe's major currencies (sans the British
pound) into the Euro next Monday will make for some interesting trading and market moves.
NCS suspects that global capital flows will be eager to buy into the new currency via
euro-denominated bonds. This may affect U.S. Treasuries so we will watch with an eye
towards opening long and short positions on various currency futures contracts. |

Ninety Nine |
| Listening to the Y2K gurus, the end of the world may be upon us
when December 31, 1999 pushes into January 01, 2000. Computers with embedded chips will
cease to function and power grids will shut down. A world without electricity may mean the
end of civilization as we know it - everything runs on electricity. Sure, your car will
work but traffic lights won't. Water supplies will funnel into homes untreated and sewage
will sit stagnant. Dreamcast consoles won't power up anymore. Visions of chaos, looting
and rampaging masses appear too clear. The world has endured many doomsday scenarios and
dire predictions in our history so perhaps we'll endure this one. Maybe not. Happy New
Year? |

Market Position Trades |
| NCS is content with our long positions but remain hedged. This limits our
potential profits but also cushions any fall that may occur in this euphoria-laden market.
The selling could occur at any time and a harsh lesson for the perma-bulls may be waiting
in the wings. We look for any break of support levels and will exit long positions and
flip 360 degrees to short when these levels are broken. |
