Real Bout is the latest in a line of Fatal Fury games which revolve around Joe Higashi and the brothers Bogard. There are a total of 16 characters to choose from which make Real Bout almost like King of the Fighters with a whole range of characters to use in your real bouting. The Saturn version of Real Bout includes an 8Mbit ram cartridge which can be used for future Saturn games that require the extra 8Mbits. For example, Marvel Super Heroes from Capcom due out sometime in December will utilize the ram card as will Virtua Fighters 3 from Sega which is due for release some time next year. Real Bout is a good fighting game on the Saturn and the lower price at US$65 makes it a good deal and a chance to get the ram card at a package price. The 8Mbit ram card will be sold separately for US$39 beginning next month in Japan.
