Running High © System Sacom In stock April 29, 1997 US$68

...In the near future, man will aspire to different types of sports that push the envelope of human endurance. Something's gotta break, especially when the human body is still a pretty frail thing when compared to a car or a robot. In Running High, some of the limitations of the body are solved with cybernetic technology which allows runners to race in the speed range of 100 mph. This new game from Sacom features you as a human with robotic parts in competition with other cybernoids in a sports setting. If you are able to win a race, you'll earn bytes which are tickets to future races. Win enough races and you'll be rewarded with a boatload of cash. The game engine is much like any other racer except you're driving a cyber-body instead of a four wheel ride. A novelty game that doesn't push any technical or graphical envelopes but the gameplay is different enough to be interesting.
