SNK has reached the point where the conversions of their flagship products are just about perfect, at least on the Sega Saturn. Thank the 8Mbit ram card for this level of quality. King of Fighters '96 was released recently for the Neo-Geo line of systems so this quick Saturn version is something of a surprise. Fighting game fans shouldn't mind since most do not have a Neo-Geo though just about every brawler enjoys the fighting games on this enduring 16-bit console. The Saturn version plays very well and features graphics that look to have been ported over directly from the NG original with no loss of definition or color. Three packages are available for this release: A single CD for those who have already purchased Real Bout Fatal Fury or Samurai Shodown 3, KOF'96 with ram card and finally a deluxe package that includes both KOF'95 and KOF'96 with their respective cards.
