Clock Tower 2 from a couple of weeks ago offered a dark and grim scenario where you were being chased by a psycho who wielded an oversize pair of shears. Welcome House 2 should be considered the antithesis of Clock Tower in that it is a cheery and light hearted 3-D adventure with polygonal characters that animate smoothly. The premise of the game features you as Keaton, who has been invited by his uncle Parkinson to his estate in Miami for the July 4th holiday weekend. Parkinson is a mischievous older gentleman who has devised a number of traps throughout the mansion to confound and waylay you. None of the traps will kill you, he's not that type of uncle but they will make for some funny situations and interludes in your chase for Parkinson. Since Welcome House is a light hearted, cartoon-like adventure, Keaton is invincible and will never die so you can't end a session that way. The power button would work better to end a game.
